Monthly Financial Roundtable

Financial questions change as your business grows.

Financial Empowerment Roundtable

Running an established business brings different questions.

Can we afford another hire? Is our pricing still working? Why does cash feel tight even when revenue is growing? What can the business realistically support next?

Financial Empowerment Roundtable is a monthly space to talk through questions like these with Mitchell Consulting and other business owners and nonprofit leaders.

Register once. We will send upcoming session details and let you know when it is time to RSVP.

before it becomes a crisis

Not every financial question needs to become a crisis before you talk about it.

Sometimes the business is doing well and you simply need a clearer answer before you hire, invest, change your pricing, or make another important move.

Why Roundtable exists

Your reports can be accurate and still leave you with questions.

You can know what happened last month and still wonder whether you can hire, invest, change your pricing, pay yourself differently, or make the next move you have in mind.

Roundtable gives you a place to slow the decision down long enough to understand the financial side of it. We take one useful question, explain what matters in plain language, and make room for the real situations people in the room are working through.

✓

One focused topic, explained in plain language

✓

Real questions and business situations from the room

✓

Practical guidance you can use to think more clearly afterward

Who this room is built for

This room is for businesses that are already in motion.

The most useful conversations happen when you have real financial activity, real decisions, and enough complexity that the numbers need context.

If you are still at the idea or launch stage, Roundtable may not be the best starting point. Sessions assume you already have a business or organization in motion.

You lead an established service business or mission-based nonprofit

Your decisions now involve people, capacity, cash, pricing, or investment

You have financial reports, but you want more context around what they mean

You want an expert perspective before making a bigger financial move

You value practical guidance without jargon, judgment, or a hard sell

What happens each month

A conversation. Not a class.

Each month we focus on one question that shows up in the financial life of a growing business. You can participate, bring a question, or simply listen. The goal is to leave understanding the issue more clearly than you did when you arrived.

01

We frame the question

We explain the financial issue in plain language and show you what actually matters.

02

We work through the real-world side

Questions and examples connect the topic to decisions business owners are making right now.

03

You leave knowing what to look at next

You walk away with a clearer question, a useful next step, or a better understanding of the numbers behind your decision.

The conversations

The questions get more complex as the business grows.

Topics rotate throughout the year, but the conversations stay grounded in the decisions established business owners and nonprofit leaders are actually making.

01

Can the business support my next move?

Think through hiring, investing, expanding, or taking on something bigger before you commit.

02

Why does cash still feel tight?

Understand the difference between revenue, profit, and what is actually available to use.

03

Is my pricing still working for the business I have built?

Look at margin, capacity, and what the work really costs to deliver now.

04

What should still be on my plate as the owner?

Think through delegation, financial responsibility, and where your attention matters most as the business grows.

05

When are clean books no longer enough?

Recognize when reporting needs to grow into budgeting, forecasting, and forward planning.

06

What should I expect from a financial partner?

Understand the difference between receiving reports and getting financial support you can actually use.
